What can I expect during my first therapy session? In our first session, we'll take the time to get to know each other. I’ll walk you through my policies and confidentiality, and we’ll discuss how therapy works and what you can expect. I'll ask a few questions about your life, and you’ll have the space to share what’s been on your mind, what you hope to accomplish during our time, and we'll work together to set some goals.
-
How long are therapy sessions? The first session will be about 55 to 60 minutes. All other sessions are around 54 minutes, which gives clinicians time to prep for their next session.
-
How often will I need to come to therapy?I recommend starting weekly, and once you’ve developed some coping skills, we can transition to bi-weekly sessions. If needed, we can also have monthly maintenance sessions. The frequency is flexible and will depend on your needs and schedule—we’ll collaborate to find what works best for you.
-
Do you offer in-person sessions? Not at this time, but that may change in the future. Currently, I offer online sessions only.
-
How long will therapy take?Everyone's healing timeline is different. Therapy is a personalized experience, and we’ll work together to create a plan that’s tailored to your needs. Some people may feel better after a few sessions, while others may take longer. Your progress is what matters most.

How do I get started? You can reach out to me directly to inquire about my availability. While I may have openings, I understand that your schedule might not always align with mine. We can explore options like spacing out sessions bi-weekly or monthly. If we're unable to find a time that works for both of us, I can add you to my waitlist and will contact you as soon as an opening becomes available.
